Brasa & Maíz

Modern Latin kitchen · New York

Fire, corn and the flavors of home.

Charcoal-grilled meats, bright ceviches and recipes from across Latin America, in three neighborhoods of New York.

Our story

Brasa & Maíz started with a simple idea: cook the food we grew up with, on real charcoal, with the best ingredients New York has to offer.

Corn is where it all begins. Every tortilla, arepa and sauce is made in-house, every morning, by the same hands that serve you at the table.

Today we cook in Chelsea, Williamsburg and Astoria. Same fire, same recipes, three different rooms.
